Swiss Phenology Day 2017 in Sempach

The Swiss Ornithological Institute Sempach was the destination of the Swiss Phenology Day on 22 April 2017. Interesting content on the seasonal activity of birds was shown in lectures: detailed studies on bird migration and evaluations on the singing activity of birds. In addition, the platform www.ornitho.ch was presented, on which bird observations and bird migration are documented. The subsequent tour of the visitor centre was inspiring with its interactive and versatile exhibition concept.
